Wow... Dreaming of Summer actually said "the media and anyone who disagrees with [W] are unfair and dishonest" !!!!
Really!? She admits he's a fallible human being, yet ANYONE who disagrees with this man is unfair and dishonest!? Wow. Bush should appoint her chief of his thought police.
To answer your question, George W Bush (and Dreaming of Summer) have convinced me that there are people in this country who are bull-headed and gullible enough to follow this man off the side of a frickin' cliff like lemmings.

As far as the presidency is concerned, surround yourself with well informed people. Not those who'll hightail it once trouble arises. Be more articulate with speeches and don't try to put the weight of the whole world on your shoulders. Especially when 49% (or is it now 70%) of the people aren't there to offer support.

c) They wish to be represented by a president who looks as stupid as they feel
I'm still trying to decide which...

Decode this lyrics "He's ain't heavy, he's my brother"
Just living human kind like you and me at loss and stranded who sometimes made blunders and slip-ups with human errors like everyone else too in making a monkey out of ourselves during our life time in planet of apes.
When others throw the balls at us then we try to make it to the home-run in correcting it in planet of apes.
Sometimes along the way we get strike down with a rock and that hurts with an "ouch" in planet of apes.
