If it's above 100 then use baby tylenol and a cool washcloth. Be sure to follow the dosage instructions carefully. I highly recommend Hyland Homeopathic Teething Tablets for Babies, they really help and have been around for a long time. As a mother of four I can tell you they work very well. You can find them at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, etc. They are small tablets, use as directed they melt on your babies tongue and absorb pretty much instantly.

If his temp is safe, as in about 100 degrees, then leave it. His body is doing what it needs to do. If it gets higher, try a bath (not cold!), but do NOT let it get too high. 104 degrees causes brain damage, if that gives you a guideline.
There are homeopathic teething tabs (dissolve in mouth) you can get at a health food store. I'm not saying they work (I don't know), but I'd give that a try.
Also, make sure his bowels are moving good-as in daily or more often. If not, that will make him more likely to get a fever.
