I saw 'The Exorcist' when I was in the 5th grade and I honestly wasn't the same for months. I know its a cheesy 70s movie but it scared me half to death!

The Hills Have Eyes... I couldn't sleep for 2 nights! It scared me because they broke down in nowhere land with no gas station for miles and no signals for their cell phones. I could never go on a road trip after that!

But the scariest movies are always the ones based on real life events, like "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" or any of the serial killers (Jeffery Dahmer, Ted Bundy) because these are things that REALLY did happen, and that's creepy!

nothing much really scares me... I LOVE horror! Saw was much like Sesame Street, and quite dull. Although, I have to say one of the creepiest movies is so lame I'm embarrassed to admit that it spooks me.... Signs... it's one of those, it could happens orta movies, and the scene where the alien walks past the kid's party AAAAARRRrrrrgghh!!

It depends a lot on where you see the movie too, at home, nothing really is that scary, but at the movies... there HEAPS worse. The louder the scary scenes are, the scarier they seem.. example, The Ring (hollywood version) when they show the mangled faces of the victims, on a mega screen, and a really loud violin noise....SCARY!! At home...... BORNG!!! Well, until the phone rings

The very first time I saw the original Halloween. Now it's my favorite movie, but at the time it scared the living hell out of me.
My buddy says The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Reason: it didn't answer questions, it just raised more.
my other buddy says the Director's Cut of The Exorcist. Reason: The crab-walk scene down the steps, absolutely horrifying.

I was scared for 3 months after I saw the first Nightmare on Elm St. If there was any squeaky noise I was terrified!

I never saw another horror again. Yep, what a wimp!

The exorcism of Emily Rose
It is based on a true story, she twists her body in strange ways while possessed!
