What do you think? The schisms are deep and ancestral. The way to bridge the rift is to have some good men of pure intentions who will show the world that it can be done.
Iraq is a birthplace of some of the worlds noblest belief systems. Surely there will be the same genes still floating around.

Than was the whole point of the US invasion of Iraq -- divide and rule. Iraq will split into three lands -- one for the Shiias, one for the Sunnis and one for the Kurds.

partition has been an option explored by the powers that be. shall we have a north and south like so many other places? but there are at least three factions to be appeased, sunni, shi'a, and kurd. whatever the division, it would be a hella DMZ. and who gets the oil?
