Most things can wait until your family MD opens up in the morning. Only if you could DIE from something, do you need to rush into the ER.

It depends on the situation. If you can see your doctor first thing in the morning, that is what I would suggest, as YOUR doctor has your charts and knows your medical history (and if you went to the ER right now, you'd probably be waiting until tomorrow morning, anyways).
Unless it is something serious (like bleeding a lot from the vagina, running a fever over 102 F, or symptoms of meningitis), you can wait ONLY if your doctor can see your first thing in the morning.
**EDIT**
Spotting and bloating on birth control is COMPLETELY normal. You're going to retain water, and some women spot. Remember, hon, this is Yahoo Answers. Sometimes, when someone says "see your DR. immediately", they're really saying "I don't know if this is normal".
If you look at the side effects for your pills, you'll probably see that what you're experiencing is normal. If you're in pain, however, schedule an appointment with your OB/GYN as soon as you can.
In the mean time, try to relax. This is NOT a medical emergency.

It depends on what they are saying see the Dr immediately about... bleeding or something in that sort, yes. It would just have to depend. If you are having a problem you can call the ER and ask their opinion. They will usually tell you if they think you should come in or wait till tomorrow to see your Dr.
