How does one get a job as a film set decorator?

My daughter went to college for interior design and wants to get a position as a set decorator. Not a set designer. She loves the actual decorating. Any serious info would greatly appreciated

Start at the bottom like everybody else and P.A.

That will give you access to the set decorator on that production and you can land a gig as an asst. from there. Then work your way up.

I think you would have to be a well known decorator or have a good connection.
