First off, how long have you been trying? It takes the average couple about a year to conceive, give or take a few months. If you've only been trying for a couple of months, fertility is probably not an issue. I'm 28, and it took me two years to conceive the baby I'm carrying now.

If it takes you longer than a year to a year and a half, though, go see a fertility specialist, and see if both you and your husband are fertile.

Don't freak out, though. There are SOOO many women over the age of 35 having kids these days. There was a lady on here a few days ago who is 50 and expecting twins.

You've got some time. Don't get so wrapped up in making a baby that you forget how much fun it is to make one.

the best thing for you to know if something's wrong with you is that you consult an ob-gyne !!! you'd probably undergo a series of laboratory test. and to make it easier, inform the ob-gyne of your activities when you were still young. like.. your sex life, the pills you've taken, and so on...dont lose hope, my aunt was 40 years old when she gave birth to a healthy boy!!! if you're really desperate.....i will tell you a secret; but i doubt you will believe it.

Have you (spouse included) seen a Dr. about this? I originally tried for two years and turned out to be his problem. Low sperm count (should have been in the milions, he was only in the 1,000"s) therefore he took a pill and bam, there the baby was.

I would think the obvious step would be to see a fertility specialist.
