It depends on what you want from the device. If you want to play games on the go, get the PSP (or even the DS Lite).

If you want something completely fresh and new, and want the perfect party machine, get the Wii with some controllers and get your friends over.

Play together with them. You will have the fun of your lives...

With the PSP you will suffer long loading times (there is a video on the Internet, where you have to sit through 7 minutes of loading screens and introduction Videos before you can play something). Not ideal for a portable device...

YES, WII IS WORTH BUYING!!! IT's BETTER THAN PS3, and it IS MORE ENTERTAINING!!

The Wii (pronounced as the pronoun "we," IPA: [wiː]) is a video game console released by Nintendo. The console was previously known by its project code name of Revolution, and is the successor to the Nintendo GameCube. Although Nintendo states that its console targets a broader demographic than that of Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation 3,[7] as part of the seventh generation of gaming consoles it competes with the other two on some levels.

A distinguishing feature of the console is its wireless controller, the Wii Remote, which can be used as a handheld pointing device and can detect motion and rotation in three dimensions. Notable among the console's internal features is WiiConnect24, which enables it to receive messages and updates over the Internet while consuming very little electrical power.

Nintendo first mentioned the console in the 2004 E3 press conference and later unveiled the system at the 2005 E3. Satoru Iwata revealed a prototype of the controller at the September 2005 Tokyo Game Show.[8] In the 2006 E3, it won the first of several awards.[9] By December 8, 2006, the console completed its launch in three key markets

it has less game, but all of them is entertaining...

Avatar: The Last Airbender, Call of Duty 3
Cars GT Pro Series,
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Madden ,NFL 07
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance ,Monster 4x4 World Circuit
Need for Speed: Carbon, Rayman Raving Rabbids
Red Steel ,SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab,
Tony Hawk's Downhill,Trauma Center: Second Opinion

MOST REALESTIC IS THPS DOWNHILL!

Yes, especially if you're an unfit slob like me. The Wii is very fun and the supposed "gimmick" wore off very quickly and the controller movements bacame quite natural for the 5 games I have, (wii sports, wii play, rayman raving rabbids, COD3, Red Steel). And it also has an internet browser (beta, full will be in march), a pretty good array of downloadable games and is just ruddy awesome.

In short Yes. You bet it is. the psp is an entirely different "console" and can't really be compared, aside from the sloooow loading times it's just not that great.

Tottally Worth it Dude!!!!!! My friend got one and it is asome!!! it is way better than a PS3, because sony copied it. They copied the movement controls. Besides Wii is so small and a PS3 is huge. The price of the Wii is only 250$ and the PS3 is 600$. I would go fo the Wii if i was you!

I think so. I think the advantage is that you can interact more with the Wii and not just push buttons like bowling and boxing and golfing and also do surgery in one of the games.

yes the nintendo wii is worth buying. i paid $425 for mine, and if i had had $1000 and thats what they cost, i would pay that much for them. you use physical motions to play the game. in golf for instance, you stand up, and hold the wiimote like a golf club, and swing. for more info go to www.wii.com
