I have heard that western men prefers to marry eastern women saying they are good.Is this true?

I really hope that most men with brains look for compatibility, presonality-wise. Whoever they find more compatible.... However, many mistaken politeness for compatibility.

The only reason some men say eastern women are "good" is because traditionally they are "good girls". They don't talk back, they don't get upity, they don't try to outdo their men. Kind of like the '50's housewives on TV. Better to be seen and not heard. This type of man doesn't want an equal.
However, most western men I find want an intelligent woman, as well as a good looking woman. They want a woman they can laugh and talk with, as well as be proud of her individual accomplishments.

Its the stereotype. Most men prefer women who are just mannequins...seen and not heard, perform your duties and leave them alone. I, for one don't see that as being attractive at All. Eastern, Western, whatever. It has to be more than just looks, those fade away, right?

disagree with above... regarding anime and what-not. That is just plain ignorance.

Personally, I have no preference, and have dated most ethnicities of women, currently I happen to be dating an asian woman but she is as american as any woman I have ever dated.

regardless, some men fetish or prefer a certain ethnicity, i guess the stereotype would be that asian women are submissive or the likes... though in my experience, the opposite is almost always the case. Every single asian woman I know actively avoids the men who are out just to date asians...

It does seem that less than average men can date asian women that should be out of their league... but that is just an observation, and is not often/always the case.

I think the most rational explainations are, the asian population is increasing in the states (and worldwide) we have all grown up sitting next to asian people in class.. working with asian people etc.
It isn't really a big deal anymore, to date across racial barriers. (and of racial barriers.. from the average white perspective.. asians are very similar to whites in many ways.. and the least socially offensive... Though, I wish that weren't the case...) and i am embarrased for my own heritage to admit that.)

The 2 asian women I have dated are both talented, motivated, inspired, fascinating women. That has been my draw. To me, their race, is as insignificant as their hair color... who cares?

I think it is a cultural thing. These women often have not had an introduction to hard ball feminism and the men like that about them. A gentle culture is hard to resist.

i really don't know for fact if its true or not. but alot of the guys I know are attracted to asian women because they are very cute and petite usually (thats my opnion, they are very cute!) but thats just attraction, not a desire to marry strictly asian women.
as for them being more demure, I have a asian grandma (married in we love her!) and the woman rules with a very iron fist! i wouldn't say she is a feminist, but i know there isn't a man (including grandpa) that'll look cross at her. hahaha!

Ha, Candice....they are predicatable, are not they? i in my opinion do no longer fool around exterior my marriage, yet of course the question isn't a pollof no count number if or no longer we are cheating. The question is, for people who fool around, do they seek for out married adult adult males as adverse to single adult adult males. ladies cheat for various motives than adult adult males, i think of. some ladies are afraid to be on my own. fairly of leaving the single they are with...they'll cheat with the reason of finding yet another mate. if so i think of that they had be finding for single and available. in the event that they are cheating for the attention/intercourse, yet truly do want to stay married to their companion, i think of a married guy could be a safer wager.

The kind of men who prefer Asian women are the same kind of men who are obsessed with anime, video games, the internet, and japanese culture as a whole, so the preference for Asian women sorta flows out from their other interests. Most *real* men prefer white girls (well, at least if you're talking about white men). It is only human nature to prefer to date people who look more like you, so normal white men would be attracted to white women, normal asian men to asians, and normal black men to black women.

And no, this isn't ignorance.
