It's really expensive to move. These days it costs around $40,000 to sell a house and move to another. If you've invested money into home improvements in your current house and will turn around and do the same improvements to your next house you'll end up spending even more money. It's not always a wise financial decision for the security of the family to move every time you feel like it. In the long run a husband can't just move on a whim, no matter how much he may love his wife, or they may end up penniless or homeless. Finanacial responsibility is necessary to survive in the real world. You can want a lot of things because you're tired of the old, but it doesn't mean that your husband can afford them. That's a lot of pressure to put on a person and if they can't deliver it doesn't mean they don't love you or they're selfish.

The reason why the wife could no longer live there would have a large bearing on moving or staying. If she found out the H brought his affair partner to the house and they played in the marital bed, I am surprised she didn't burn the house down with him in it (just an example).Men could care less about great grandmas brooch but that p/u/suv/four wheeled anything is a whole different thing.

Any man that values his house over his wife is a man that should be sleeping in the doghouse.
Really, any guy that is that immature shouldn't be in a relationship, let alone a marriage. I think he requires some serious therapy.

Best we all feck their puny plans up by being a bit more disreputable then, as I am lucky enough to live in a reasonably nice area I think I can stay reasonable whilst acting irresponsible like they do all the time. This probably isn't a joke you'll give them ideas...OK you got me or did you? Hnnnmmm

It depends - does she have a valid reason for moving? Which one earns the bread? There's really not enough to go on with this question....he could be a distant jerk, or she could be a selfish whiner, we can't really tell.

i guess it depends how many times the wife holds him over a barrell..... and expects him to say yes dear... right away dear....
and if he doesnt that 'proves' what she knew all along... 'he doesnt really love me'.......
go on prove it to yourself..... and in the next relationship prove it all again... and again...
and in the end when you are all alone because men have stopped being interested in your hoops..... you can learn to hula dance with them.... and keep yourself entertained for hours...
perhaps he just likes where he is... and doesnt want to move...
