Isn't that a little like asking for an insult or a lie and aren't both just as equally bad?

well sometimes, the question is "do these pants make my butt look big?" or other like questions. If it is a friend asking , they really want to know what you think. Don't lie and say they look good if they do look a little off. I think there are some larger sized people that could really use some fashion help. I mean if you are a size 20, please do NOT wear form fitting dresses or small tank tops with daisy duke shorts. There is nothing wrong with being larger, you can be a larger size and still dress with some class. I hate when people call others names.. like fat a.. or whatever. If you don't like overweight people, don't look. There is someone out there for everyone. As far as asking "am I fat" someone who thinks they may have gained a few, might ask to see if their friends think they could stand to lose a few...

Maybe you want to answerer's true opinion, each person has a different idea of just how fat 'fat' is.

I dunno if your fat.. I havent seen you.. but I can see why a fat person wouldnt ask that... it would be like asking for an insult or asking someone to lie... so no your not alone..
