This one was hard for a mom. I went threw this with my youngest and I was prosecuting him for child molesting, she then turned up pregnant, she turned 15. I still pushed he then turned 20. He had her so brain washed that I was totally put out of her life in a sense. Her father (she's age 16 1\2) was allowed to let them get married. (AND NOW 1 1\2 YEARS LATER, SHE'S LIKE OH MOM, WHAT DO I DO?) I am trying to be there with, Baby I tried to protect you, not reminding her, she knows. But no matter I will be there for her. So we are very close again. Good Luck it's a horrible feeling for a mother, can't imagine a sister's feeling. hang-in there and open up, see what dad or mom could also do? Mine got limited due to her pregnancy.

She doesn't know that type of love at 14..
I don't have a problem with people dating younger people as long as it's legal, but in this case :\
Often times older guys go for younger kids because they're easily manipulated & gullable. They think "Oh my, He's older! and he "loves" me" Little does she know, it's probably for sex. She's too ignorant to realize this because she's just a child.
My friend was telling me about his older brother thats 22 dating a 14 year old. I think it's disgusting!
You would think that someone the age of 20 would have the brains and morals to know that you don't date a child.
Sick bastards.

The only person that you need to talk to is the district attorney (or whatever he is called in your town)
I am sure you have seen to catch a predator.
in each one of the 50 states this is a crime (if he is having sex with her)
YOu might try mailing him the laws regarding statutory rape in your state.
WHERE are your parents in all of this.
If that was my dad, mr. 20 year old would have gotten out of jail in time to go to my sisters retirement party! His parole officer has not even been BORN yet! If that threat does not make him go away, FOLLOW THRU! call the police if he comes over. Call child protective services. Your sister will get mad at you but so what, she will be over it before his first rape in jail!

Is she having sex with him? If so, he can be charged with statutory rape---sex with a minor. Tell him that, and ask if he wants to spend time in prison. I know of a guy who was going with a 15 year old girl---he spent a year in prison, and was on probation for 10 years.
Your sister is way too young to even know what love is. Where are your parents? Why are they allowing this anyway?

i know your worried about her but just be happy for her and know that a relationship between a 14 and a 20 yr old most likely won't last long unless yor sister is doing something she shouldn't be doing then you can call the cops on his a**

You need to tell your parents- it is illegal for a 20 year old to be messing around with a 14 year old.

No way would i allow my baby sister to do that.
Me personally, id talk to the ADULT 1st, let him know that's hes way out of line in pursuing a romantic relationship with a 14 yr old. If he still continues to see her, id talk to my sister, and if that doesn't work, id tell my parents.
If my parents still couldn't faze the 2, id suggest to my parents we pursue legal action; and if my parents didn't, i'd do it myself.
*PS: If you know for sure he's having sex with your sister, go to your parents as soon as possible.

ok, keep in mind that IF they are having relations of a sexual nature, that is statutory rape in most state as well as in Canadian provinces. I would talk to him and tell him that you are going to have him in with the cops. See if that works. Personally I am not against the age thing but that's a little rediculous.

Personally...i like someone that is 21 and i'm 16...so i dont' think it matters. What matters is if they really connect...If they would be willing to be there for each other...if they understand each other...considering the age difference...besides that...age doesn't matter...even tho it is illegal to date...i personally think that that is dumb. It's ur personal business...
it's really hard to find someone that u really feel connected to...if u do...it shouldnt' matter their age...what works works. People lead different lives...my friends' parents are 10 years apart. who cares? they managed to love each other still. Just because it's uncommon doesn't mean it can't happen.
