Are there any other places besides the BBC Motion Gallery to buy/get video clips for a documentary?

I'm making a documentary for school/contest and I need/want primary source video clips. I know the BBC motion gallery has some really nice footage you can buy, but are there any other places? And where can I get access to historical archives (online or off) that may have information or video?

Try http://www.corbis.com I know they mostly do photos but I believe they have a video section.
