The fans. Seriously, I think other genres of music are going down the drain as well and I think it's because the people buying music buy any crap and it incourages the artists (and I use that term loosely here) to make more crap. Example: I bet Gwen Stefani won a bet by saying "watch I'm going to make a crappy record and I bet people will buy it", and people bought it, so she tries to top herself by making each cd painfully worse to see how far she can go and still have people buying her cds. Sad.

It became all fake with all the "Lil" b.s. It makes it seem like Menudo, New Kids On The Block, 98 Degrees, NSync. When money is the influence instead of musical integrity then a downfall is imeninent.

Once rappers get to the mainstream, they start sucking and eventually die off.
I have and have always preferred underground rappers.
Once they reach the limelight, they change because they got their money. They themselves arn't killing hiphop but instead killing themselves.

kinda copies yung jocs "its going down"

what he needs to be is a daddy and

the kids by dropping them stupid kfed

greedy record companies who want to capitalize on the popularity of hip hop because other genre of music aren't paying the bills. they are actually prostituting the music and the artist to the point that it all sounds alike.

rap is a fad that is dying off, nobody wants to hear these same beats over and over again. which brings me to my next point about how rap has no variety. also the only topics they talk about is sex and drugs. i do agree that songs that talk about that stuff are good but to a certain extent. if you find this offensive check into reality RAP IS NOT MUSIC, IT IS RUINING MUSIC AND IF YOU DIDN'T NOTICE i strongly dislike rap
