Not in a creepy way of course. But when you're just sitting on a train, in a mall, etc. don't you just love to encounter the crazy things people say and do. Anybody have any good stories?

I was on a buss once with a female friend. I was crossdressed. There was a couple across the asile from us and the male had the isle seat. I started to get up and so did he. Then he gestured for us to go out. Out on the sidewalk his wife said. This is where we tell the ladies to go first. It was funny.

This wasn't in a public place, but my younger sisters (age 14 and 11) and I were driving through a farm area. The 14 year old was trying to give me directions and said, "Turn right at that cow." It would've been helpful if we were in the city, but we were driving by a dairy farm. Five minutes later the 11 year old asked, "How come that cow is standing on top of the other cow?" She didn't know that one of them wasn't a cow, but a bull.

i am so amused by watching people eat while they're at buffet restaurants. my kids and i were at a new asian buffet in town a few months back. there was a man and woman (very large) wearing matching bright hawaiian shirts. the woman spilled some food on her shoulder--how you even do that is amusing to me--and then licked it off. my youngest son (special needs) said in a loud voice,"geez lady, you're at a restaurant, not the zoo. didja see that mom? she has a tongue like a giraffe." omg, i thought i was just gonna fall out of my chair. ppl don't seem to have very good table manners anymore.

One time I was eating in a Mexican restaurant where nobody else was eating and this couple of grad students came in. The guy was wearing this trucker cap and they started talking. The guy started saying how he was into 'hard-core anarchy' and how he was such a 'hard-core anarchist.' (Hard-core must be his favorite word, because he used it like five times.)

I thought the whole thing was hilarious. You can't get much less hard-core anarchist than a trendy, trucker cap wearing grad student studying at his nice, safe, completely institutional univeristy. I mean how much more part of the system could you get?
