It was a big story when it first happened. That is what happens when you get shot at like 3 am or something. By midday it starts to lose a little of the story because News is only NEW for so long. Now by the NFL standards a Coach being fired is NEWS even if we all basically knew that Green was gone and Mora was struggling to keep that job. If you went to the Broncos site and it had a big story about the Coaches being fired over the story of him then yeah that would be wrong. With the NFL though that is what you should expect.

Actually this was the feature story on sports.yahoo.com/nfl for a while when it first came out, the coach story didnt overwrite it till later that day

yeah i guess it was negative press because there were other players in the car. What could you possibly say to someone that would make them shoot recklessly onto a car? I feel for his family and society as a whole. We will never know the story, and because we ignore the problem, it will happen again.

it is very messed up. i dont even like denver and i feel for him. he's was already upset about not getting into the playoffs. and then to go and get shot?!!! man this is one jack up place these days

That's how news is. I'm still mad that former US Congressman GV "Sonny" Montgomery from Mississippi died in 2006 and got VERY LITTLE news coverage. He was the founder of the Montgomery GI Bill that has helped so many military go to college. A week later, Lloyd Benson (Former Vice Presidential candidate) died and he was BIG NEWS.
