I'd say, you should see a doctor about this. I don't think this is life-threatening, and it doesn't sound like you are in a lot of pain, so I don't think you need to go to ER, but try to bee seen in the next couple of days. Better yet, call the clinic and see if you can speak to a nurse on the phone. She/he will advise you on how to handle it.
Bloated is common, spotting is common too. But common doesn't mean normal or you should live with that. It means the doctor might need to prescribe you a different pill instead.

Another thing......if your blood is a brown color, then all that is is old blood discharging with your normal discharge.
Sometimes not all of the blood leaves the body during your period, so when you get your normal discharge, you'll get brown blood, and that's just the old stuff. I had that problem before, and I researched it.

Also, when you start a new pill, everyone reacts differently, and it generally takes up to 4 months for the body to accept it and not have side effects.

some light bleeding is common, i had that when i was on the pill. i asked my dr about it, and he said i just needed different birth control. but, if your having pain, and your abdomen feels bloated, you should stop taking the pills and see your dr.
