and his Presidency? How do you think other countries would view us? Do you think there would have been more terrorists attacks against us? Or do you think the terrorists would have been content with 9/11?

I would have been very disappointed in him for doing nothing. I think he has basically stood up for what he believed was right. I don't care how other countries view us as long as we are not seen as push overs. There are still plenty of people wanting to come to America. No, I don't believe the terrorists would have been content with 9/11.

First of all, the US (Bush) has been stirring the pot and shaking the hornet's nest for quite some time, all pre 9-11. And they stupidly continue to do so.

If you play with fire, you will get burned.

Demanding that you are the country to which others must conform to and denouncing their government/customs is not a viable or appreciated ideal to radical extremists.

One man, and a questionable president at that cannot change the world. What is scary is that Bush thinks he can. He is in over his head, the world is at risk, terror attacks are growing across the world, and innocent people are dying daily.

You cannot pressure other countries by telling them they are either "For or against you". I am willing to bet the major terror attacks on London would have never happened if Blair did not join Bush's crusade.

It is a losing battle, and invading Iraq had no impact on terrorism (Doh!). In fact, I believe it has started a deadly global war which has changed the world forever.

I have heard all sorts of conspiracy theories regarding the fact that Bush knew about 9-11 but failed to react or let it happen so he could conquer Iraq in his "War on Terror". At this point, the whole situation is crazy regardless of the truth.

You can't fight a losing battle. Sometimes you have to give in, give them what they want, and count your losses. The death count doesn't need to continue to climb.

Why is it either all or nothing? Iraq and Afghanistan have NOTHING to do with each other.
Afghanistan was such an easy call that Nader or Mr. Rogers would have bombed that place after 911. Iraq on the other hand? That was a case of the shoe being built to fit the foot.

Bush created the CIA and the US military?

Yeah, before Bush the United State did not had a military.

you have a extra constructive mind's eye than me. it quite is as reliable a fantasy as any regardless of the undeniable fact that, i like the sound of it. i think of we would be nearer to conflict with Iran regardless of the undeniable fact that if we weren't slowed down in Iraq. i think of Iraq is forcing international kinfolk with Iran, for now. besides the reality that, if we pull out of Iraq, we are nearer to conflict with Iran. unusual irony.

He would still be an idiot. He isn't preventing terrorist by making airport security tougher. A terrorist could blow up a bridge or start a fire. And guess what its cheaper. Afganistan I can see and I support it more or less. But not Iraq.

The invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan have increased the potential for terrorism worldwide. The worst is yet to come.
