Ok, I have fallen for this guy, and well I really like him! I told him my feelings late October and he took it just fine. We are not going out or anything, but me and my friends are starting to see some progress! Anyways, my parents think I should focus more on my school than love (Dont worry, Im not young) well, they think its absoulouetly wrong for me to have feelings for someone...i think its because that's the way it was when they were young! But isnt life all about loving??? What should I do?

i think that in some ways love can be life. i mean if you are deeply in love with this dude, like you would jump in fire for him or something, it can be life. but in some cases, not including yours, love isnt life. it is all about priorities. i would tell you more if i were your friend or aqauintance because i would know how deeply you are in love with him. i mean if you think about him every minute or if you write "Mrs. "whatever his last name is" then you are in love and that means that you have fallen deeply in love. but if you think you are deeply in love when it is just a fling, that is when you ask him if you want to be more serious. and if he reacts postitively then you know you can move further. but if he gets a little skiddish and starts mumbling in a lower tone, then you know he isnt prepared and that is when you say "if you arent ready, we can wait a while" but it is all about what type of relationship and how you have gone sexually and emotionally. i am going to stop now because i am starting to sound like a shrink. good luck with your relationship and have fun!

Go ahead have a boy friend just use condoms and don't rush into anything like marraige or children, i think your parents are just scared of you having a kid causing you to drop out of school.

Well when your a teenager or when your in school you have to prepare yourself for love and stuff you have to know whats fake love was when real love hit you. Or else your going to be a 40 year old virgin.
