It's just a job to them. You ever hear the old saying, "You've seen one, you've seen them all?" That kind of fits this situation.

Sorry, but your question to me is like someone asking if a female doctor gets turned on when she gives a male patient a prostate exam.

Just wondering--where you doing something to turn him on because you were attracted to him? No offense intended, just curious.

Good question.

I've often wondered. I hate getting a pelvic exam.
I think they may a first, while they are learning, it is natural for a man. Over the years, it probably becomes just like every other body part. Hopefully you got a good enough doctor who is more concerned for looking for abnormalities than to get his jollies on.

Normal for the human male...but not ethical for a doctor. What makes you think he was aroused? Did he do anything/say anything inappropriate? You may want to consult a female gynecologist from now on...it's much more comfortable

a sincere gynecologist to his profession is supposed to be different from ordinary male while examining a female patient. if he's not sincere he will loose confidence of such patients. i don't think he gets turned on 'coz the other portion of the organ is covered with linen and he looks the other way.

properly for a initiate while a women is 'attempting to instruct on a guy' she optimistically wont be in stirrups, with a magnificent easy shining on her nether areas! women can do slightly extra to instruct on a guy frequently than merely exposing their female bits! (Allthough all of us understand for some adult men thats all it takes ;-) ) Getting an examination, and an intimate 2d are 2 very distinctive circumstances. besides, i could desire maximum docs are expert, and can seperate paintings from play.

Of course, but remember that is very unprofessional & should be reported for abusing his position, in Australia women who are seen by a male gyno have to have a female nurse present for those sort of examinations

How uncomfortable that must have made you feel. I would think human nature might cause that to happen on his behalf. I see a female doctor.

Completely unethical. If he is a professional he should treat his job as such and especially his patients.

I would say that it can't be normal because it is completely unethical... but it must happen on occasion.
