im at work, alone, and surrounded by computers

at work , weather radar to my right eight computer displays in front a me , boss's office to the left , an a wall a bins with spare parts behind me.

I'm sitting in a leather computer year with two armrests, that my arms have neglected to rest on the desk infront of this keyboard, where my fingers are finding the keys, to type these words. To my left, is a small pile of about twelve "Just the Hits" cds, a small white desk fan(its supposed to be summer here) resting on a copy of the Sims 2 Glamour Pack, a container with assorted pens and a gluestick, an empty plate with crumbs left over from pizza on it, an old oxford dictionary, some assorted pieces of paper, an ipod mini instruction booklet and a leaf. To the right is the main machineary of the computer, with a small pocket calender attached to the side, a Harcouts contact card, some camera and video cords to be attached to the computer and a cutout from the newspaper advertising some kittens for sale.
To the right of the desk is a cluttered bookshelf with assorted books and cd's in all the wrong places, paper to be placed in the printer eventually, a powershot camera box with some of the memorabilia still constained inside, scissors, an glasses case, a stapler, some Readers Digest magazines, and some old computer equipment left to rust like a few mouses.
The ground has many cords connected to the wall, and two other computer chairs sitting on the floor. To my left, there is another bookshelf, but this time containing only Sims 2 games, several old childrens books and a bumblebee soft toy. There is also a printer to the right of that, with a 10 pack of writtable cd rooms, a large piece of cardboard, an pretend electric guitar, and an old sony handheld case.
From the ceiling, there is a yellow bird puppet hanging, wearing a jazzy black hat. There is also a fire alarm, marks from where glow in the dark stickers where once pinned up, a fire alarm and a light, with an gold cover.
On the ground there are also some old computer screens and a box of cardboard.
And finally by the window, there is a single bed, with a blue Winnie the Pooh duvey cover adorned over top, and a matress and some old blankets sticking out.

I have moved into an abandoned apartment building in the old part of the city, I have made an apartment on the top (14th) floor, and have sealed off all entrances except for an old freight elevator at the back. I had to rig a large generator, to run everything, and I can slightly hear its drone in the storage room two floors below, but only because the cd player is shuffeling at the moment. All of the windows have been boarded up. and I use various cameras and monitors about the place to keep track of what is going on, sheets of clear plastic hang about to seal in the heat, as I have not finished yet, in my "improvements" about the place. My two akitas look up at me, my only company in my solitude here., save for the pidgeons, and a stray cat that shows up occasionaly. I look to the street-cam monitor, and see an accasional street person shuffeling about down below, unaware of my lodgings far above him. soon, i will go to the garage and take out the fj cruiser, to get some groceries, sealing up behind me the 8 inch concrete walls that protect my haven while i am gone..

At home, the furnace is working hard to keep the house warm, my two dogs and asleep under my chair, getting ready to strip, go outside and wade through the snow barefoot to my hottub.

Square room, painted white, walls are padded, there's only a slit on the door through which I get my meds and food and water.

I bet that sounded interesting...

Actually I'm in my bedroom, beige walls, a closet to one side, two night tables and a husband who is sleeping like a baby on my left side.

at work..in a hotel lobby..at a desk..big red lamp on a marble counter top...directly infront of me in the middle of the lobby is three huge flower arrangements-white flowers-6+ huge pillars and a waterwall...and housekeeping is buffing the floor

I'm at home, cat is asleep on my desk, kids asleep upstairs & hubby watching TV. Coffee has gotten cold so I'm going to warm it up now.
