Be it by the air you breathe, which may be stale, the ailment you have which prevents you from flying, or even the flow of history which may make your life murky and damp?

What do you do to combat that feeling, if you have it?
---

For me, I was told less than a week ago, "(What happened to you?) You used to be so intelligent," in exclamation for something mundane I did. It made me realize my mind is in a form of atrophy.

Back then, I used to read the news daily, on internet and a bit of the newspaper weekly (if I could). I watched BBC World each morning and evening, unless I had work, and went on the net to read discussions. I was obsessed with how the world was.

Now, I'm taking it very, very easily. A lot of names have slipped from my mind as new leaders have appeared.

I feel like a radio show most of the time, but I feel like I'm regurgitating the same words over and over again. I feel useless and disoriented with the world.

I feel conquered by my iniquities.

I did by my own fear of rejection and need for approval. But not anymore. Told myself, "The heck with what they think. I am my own person."

I haven't the energy to write as much as you did just now, but I can definitely relate to what you are saying.

Don't let it get you down. We're all going to die in 2012 anyway, so live it up!
