I heard that rock bands like Nirvana and others are unconsciously delivering negative messages into your brain, while Fatboy Slim's music is energizing ,what do you think?

rap always is angry black guys rambling on about their problems
try the song "take on me" by a-ha it is kinda a weird song but the beat in the intro is cool and for some reason gets me going

It depends on what kind of person you are, really. don't listen to some music just because it supposedly releases negativity and stuff even if you don't like it. it'll just backfire on you and you'll become more negative.go for what music you like and you might find that just the simple fact that you enjoy it will keep you positive. for example: listening to some whale music just because they say it has a soothing effect on the mind even though it drives you crazy is NOT a positive. so because i don't know who you are or what type of music you're into, i cant give any recommendations, unfortunately. what i can, and will, say is: get to your nearest music store and listen to a whole lot of different types of music and decide which is your favourite, and then listen to it. remember: your views on positive and negative are different to others', so maybe if what they find negative you might find positive.

For some reason, I immediately thought of "Better Now" by Collective Soul. I also like "Love You Out Loud" by Rascal Flatts.
Personally, I have a soft spot in my heart for Nirvana, but you're right- that's not exactly uplifting music. As for your brain, nothing has power of itself- that has to come from you; you have to give it that power. Caedmon's Call is wonderful. So, you see- love and joy is where you WANT to see it

If u like hip hop u should listen to Hyphy music. it is the Bay Area version of Crunk. Its crazy feel good music. look for Mistah FAB he a artist coming up who signed to a major record label
