my husband and i will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary in 07; would like to take a romantic vacation that is not too expensive to renew our wedding vows.......we own a beach house so would like something different....hope you guys can help!

Wow! that's great.. Am... just keep it simple but can be memorable for the both of you.. I guess you beach house would be a great place.. beach wedding.. during early sunrise.. or dawn or night.. just the two of you and you kids (if you have and make it a family affair.)
Reminisce those good times that you have shared as well as the bad times and the lesson that you have learned, you firs date, the time that you have said yes to him, the courting times, and all that.
In whatever way you would like to spend it, make sure that it can make you love grow more stronger. Good luck..
