I'd say they're sadistic.

well i face someone like that everyday. my brother does that to me. it isn't done out of sibling love. he is younger than me and in my culture the younger one has to respect the older sibling but he is not like that. i would have to say that a person like that is abusive and they enjoy the sight of someone being upset. it is very rude of them to do that. they can be rather like a bully. i think the best way to deal with it is to move past it. there is no point in getting even with them because they will want to do the same to you. not paying too much attention to them will get them to know have they won't get the reaction they want from you and would get bored and stop what they are doing. it works with a guy i have to deal with at school. these kind of people can be a pain, honestly.

This person sounds very self centered and negative. Understand this and don't let this person bring you down. But don't completely write them off either. Sometimes this type person does not have a clue how they are coming across to others.
Unless they are just mean and hateful people, I would throw a nice compliment their way sometimes and wish for the best!
Sometimes they are just lonely and lack Social Skills.

Think they're called Mother In Laws.

I feel that these people suffer for low self-esteem, but also are arogant. They feel as if the world owes the something and they have no problem putting people down.

I used to be able to deal with it better, often letting people walk all over me. But, I try to respectfully stand up for myself. And the old "I'm rubber, you're glue...what you say bounces off of me and sticks to you." is a classic line.

Or you could remarry to someone who parents are jerks. lol

This person does not have a great self esteem
People like this need to make others feel bad so they them self will feel better
Also if they feel bad everyone has to feel bad also
The meaner people get with me the nicer I am to them
It makes them more mad
but hey they are all ready mad

The simple answer is that some people only get attention for negativity and so they use their own hatred of themselves against other people. It makes their small world seem larger.

The description would just be a person with issues in need of therapy. I’ve met quite a few girls like that back in High School. It was like those girls seriously didn’t have hearts. Like they were robots or something. They made fun of slow people, (one even made fun of her own slow brother), fat people (to their faces) and so on. I think there's alot of insecurity within them because that behavior is just dirty, cold, and not lady like at all.

I would say they are very off balance, and not happy with themselves, they are sadistic, and twisted. Oh, and not someone you want in your life!

deal with them, but not having contact with them, therefor not allowing them to hurt you.

id say they are definitely not a friend, unfortuantly there are alot of them in world, there is no way to deal with them, just avoid them as much as possible, cos you will end up hurting yourself if you hang around with them to much.

this person doesn't like themselves - they have to put others down to make themselves feel good.
i deal with it by realizing this (i sometimes feel sorry for them) and know that it is their problem - that they have to fix - - not me.
don't let 'em get you down - it's hard at first - but, once you realize it's them and not you - you'll start to be able to handle it w/ no prob.
good luck to you - - - - and them.
