I've been recently writing a book that I look to soon publish. However, being that I am a new writer, I'm a bit confused as to how I could go about doing that. Are there any good, or trustworthy publishers I could go to to accomplish this? Do I have to worry about my book being stolen? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

All of my research says to get a major publisher to consider your work, you must get an agent first. Others say new writers can attract the attention of major publishers without an agent.

If you write a strong query letter, you're chances are good with or without an agent.

I strongly recommend researching webs to read about bad agents. No Agent should EVER ask for money - ever.

There are also self-publishing sites. I've heard both good and bad things about ALL of them.

First, I order to publish anything through the normal channels you
need a literary agent. That can be a problem.

Or you could self publish through a vanity publisher. That costly.

There is available, on line, an on demand publishing company.

Try this:-

I have two books on there my self.

Good luck.

Can't tell about the quality of Publishers. But, there are many good-ones and bad-ones in the buisness. If you have money and skill go a bit forward by yourselves.Get it printed in some private press and get it marketed
