There are so many other variables other than your height and weight that this is a super tough question. No one could really answer this question without seeing you swing at a pitch. Body strenth, the arc of you swing and the roll of you wrists are three such variables. I would say either use the one that feels best to you and ask your coach. When I played I always had 3 different bats. I used a 32/29 for everyday normal pitchers, a 30/27 for fireballers and a 33/30 for junkballers with no heat.

Hey, good question, everyone has a tough decision choosing a bat, and with the cost of bats nowadays you can't affoard to buy more then one.
I am a Junior in High School and am looking at colleges right now for baseball. I would say that with your size I would step up to a 32/29. The fact is that you definatly still have some growing to do, but at 5'7 you need a 32 inch bat, espically in high school.
As long as you take plenty of cuts with it, you wont even notice that its 29 ounces vs. 28
good luck!

You will have to buy another bat in about three to four years. The correct bat for his age would be a 31" or 32" with a drop of -5. When he goes into high school he will have to swing a -3. That's the rule. I recommend that when you switch over to the -3, you will want to get that bat sooner. Good luck and i hope your kid hits some homers, sounds like a big boy.

I used to be a baseball player, and I was told you should go with the heaviest bat you can swing fairly quickly because it will give you more power..I have nothing to back this up, this is just what I seem to remember. Also my summer league coach told me once that to test if the bat is to heavy, put it in your dominant hand and try to hold your arm and the bat parrallel to the ground for 10 seconds. If you can do it and it doesnt overly fatigue your arm then its not to heavy...again nothing to back it up just what Ive been told.

easton stealth are evenly balanced so they feel pretty light. Its your preference if you want power or hits plus it all depends on your swing. If you got a good swing do it with a 29 if you lagging just a little just go with a 28.Either way they are sweet!
