Unless you have a very quick cycle, I don't think you are pregnant. You usually ovulate 14 days after the first day of your period(although some women may ovulate sooner or later, this is just the norm), and then it would take at least a couple of weeks after that before your breasts would hurt and you may or may not see other pregnancy symptoms. So this would be way too quick to think you are pregnant. My guess? Your breasts are sensitive because you just had a period and your hormones are still regulating. It is very common to have breast tenderness before, during, and after your period, ESPECIALLY if you are on BCP because your body has been tricked into thinking it's pregnant for that cycle. You can take a test to put your mind at ease, but I am pretty positive it will be negative unless you were pregnant the cycle before Dec. 25 and had a period anyway, which sometimes happens too. Good luck, either way!

you can take pregnancy test as your periodes..get good pegnency kit..

Pregnancy tests measure the level of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) in your system. HCG is produced by the embryo and is first detectable in the mother's bloodstream as early as 6-8 days after conception.

Home pregnancy tests measure the level of HCG in urine. These tests cannot measure a level lower than 25, so they do not become accurate until the day you expect your period, at the earliest. A negative result before then is meaningless, since there would not be a high enough level of HCG to detect even if you were pregnant.

Blood pregnancy tests can measure any number from 0 on up. That's why they are more sensitive, and can become positive 6-8 days before your period is expected.

Breast tenderness is one of the earliest signs of pregnancy. It usually starts around 4 to 6 weeks..

it's too soon to take any pregnancy tests - it's only been 2 weeks ago since your last cycle. unless you meant 25th Dec 2005...

HI,
If your periods date is on 25th Dec,if you sick at that period or some times due to stress also there are chances not to get periods.if you shared with your life partner also causes same.wait for more two weeks and go for a pregnency test.if samething happend(irregular menstrual cycle)previously you can wait for some more time.
