I think this is a trend that has been going on for a long time!
My name is Dorothy and my sister's name is Diana.
If my dad would have won the name toss when I was born, I would be Debbie.
The only glitch to this is that our brother was named Alfred James...but that was because he was 1st born male and took on family names.

No, A, J, D. I hate when kids all have the same letter or when parents give like the first two the same and then the third one a different. The worst is the parents and kids all have the first letter or the boys have same letter as dad and girls same letter as mom. I think I could go on forever.

It's a family tradition to name people with the letter J. Jessie, Jordan, John, Jack, James, Jared. They're all cousins and uncles.

Yes, it's a family tradition and I hate it! My sisters and I are all T's, my cousins are all C's, my cousin named his kids with A's. It started with my grandparents who named all four of their daughters with all M's. Sure maybe it seems cute when the kids are little, but when you get old like my grandparents it's not cute or funny at family gatherings when they try to call someones name and get hung up on the first syllable.

There is four of us.
3 have same first letter. (and mom as well)
and the eldest sister shares her first letter with dad.

Which all is pure coincidence, coz all of us were named after someone.
