Considering we were lied to about WMDs and lied to about Al Qaeda terror connections in Iraq. Consider that the administration doesn’t want you to be reminded that it was the Neocons of the time that supplied chemical weapons technology to Iraq and the capability to produce WMD. Weapons that were used on the Kurds. Consider that it’s the opposition Shiites and the INC that supplied the information about the so-called “atrocities” in Iraq under the Bathe regime against Iraqis. Do you think that Saddam Hussein was not executed but politically assassinated on Saturday?

fatboysdaddy it was the Reagan administration that supplied the chem weapons not Carter. They were supplied to use against the Iranians during the Iran-Iraq war. But the US couldn't be satisfied with supplying one side they supplied both sides with weapons under the Iran-Contra Affair.
Regardless of what Clinton believed he didn't invade Iraq like Bush did. The fact is when Clinton stated what he did, unlike Bush, there were no weapons inspectors in the country. Bush had inspectors in Iraq and still claimed he had WMD.

Lets see.............the first mention of WMDs came in Feb when the President said that We know Sadam has WMDs and then again in the same month he made the same statement.........Oh wait the President who made that statement was Mr. Clinton in 1998!
But then we had a Senator make the same statement in May of 2000.......Oh wait she was not a Senator yet until later in that year when she won the election in New York State! Yes it was Mrs Clinton! This is strike one.
So NO we were not lied to by the ones you stated.
It was Mr Carter who first supplied the weapons to Sadam not the Conservatives like you stated. So that is strike two.
Those information that was gathered was under Mr. Clinton and his group. The mass graves that were found by the U.N., who were in the area time and again while the mass muder was going on, confirmed that the deaths did take place! Also the film footage that was found, again by the U.N., showed many other sickening things that when Sadam was tried in the Iraqi courts, not the U.S.A.s courts that THEY found him guilty! If this was a baseball game you would have just struck out big time.
TRY to stay with something you really know..........like playing with play do!

1.) Find me the quote where Bush said Iraq had connections to Al Qaeda, or to 9/11.

2.) Find me a statement that says that 500 undeclared shells of sarin and mustard gas are innocuous. We'll ignore the tons of yellow cake the US removed without UN permission. Or the WMD that friend Wacky Qaddafi turned over. Or the radiated scrap metal sold on the black market after the US invasion.

3.) Neocons did not supply any of this, they didn't exist until the press made them up during the Bush II administration.

4.) 180,000 dead Kurds think that Saddam's execution was way too late.

Me, I think he should have been X'ed in the early 90's when he broke the conditions of the armistice of the the First Gulf War. People who believe this murderous man has rights need to get fed into his plastic recycling machine (in a virtual manner, of course) to get their head straight.

The international view of American foreign policy is radically different from what seems to be the perception of the general public in America. Are you being lied to? The difference in perspective between a Canadian and an American on foreign policy is a gulf, already. Imagine what the average person in the Middle East, Germany or India thinks.

The neocons will do anything to increase their grip on power. We will never know the lies and damage they have wreaked upon our country.

I am sure some of the neocons actually believe they are doing what is best for America. However, in acting in such a manner, they are undermining the very base foundation of America, which is our Constitution.

Bush runs roughshod over the Constitution, urged on by his neoconservative allies, a supportive Republican legislative branch, and a feeble, poll-wary Democrat minority (until tomorrow, that is).

It is ironic that Democrats/Liberals are derided by Republicans as being unAmerican. The irony is that we Dems want the rule of law, the rule of America, followed, to truly act in a manner representative of America.

The Republicans want to do whatever the hell they want to do, laws and constitutionality be damned.

The neocon lies will affect us for generations to come. They have severely harmed America.

When Saddam fought the Kurds our government basically patted him on the back for helping to keep the middle east stable. Now it is an excuse to kill him.

We were not lied to. They had strong reason to believe that there were WMD. Scientists were confessing to that. The fact that there weren't does not matter because either way, we were trying to get at Saddam, who was responsible for killing hundreds of thousands of people...The fact that he didn't have WMD doesn't make him any less dangerous.

How was Saddam politically assassinated? When Timothy McVeigh was put on the electric chair, he was fighting the U.S. government too. Was he "politically assassinate"? We got revenge for his sever, disgusting crimes.
