She sounds like a bad friend. If I were you then YES I would be really mad at her and I'd ditch her. No real friend would EVER do that to you and then act like it's all fun and games. Don't even tell her how you feel-just completely ignore her and move on. I mean, do you really want a friend who will mess up your computer and then think it's no big deal? If you keep being friends with her she may break into your car or something-who knows what's next on her list.

I cannot tell you what your rights are or are not. Maybe your friend didn't know that what she sent to you contained a virus. I would simply look at this as a learning experience and the next time you can be better prepared for getting a virus. The best person to speak to about her reaction to your bad experience would be herself. Have you discussed this with her?

Awww... it's not pleasant of her to do that! Have you told her how YOU feel about her doing that, though? Perhaps she finds it hilarious and doesn't understand how serious it is... Tell her you're seriously upset that she did that to you and that you wish she'd feel some guilt for doing so! ..... Her eyes are closed for now, that's all. So feel angry or forgive her after knowing her intentions and when she finds out how it's made you feel. Ask her how she'd feel if you did the same to her!
Edit: And I don't think a friendship should be ended just like that... unless she knows how you feel but still continues ignoring your feelings!

If she sent the virus on purpose then you have every right to be angry. If she not knowingly sent it, then I would cut her some slack. If she didn't show any remorse, then don't bother trying to fix the friendship. Sounds to me that she doesn't really care about anyone but herself.

If she did this on purpose - then yes you have a right to be upset. If she didn't know that she was sending a virus you deserve an apology - but what do you want her to do?

Yeah I do hate that. Many times I just let it go but if it happens twice I go off.
