rest, rest, rest, ibuprofen, more rest.
It's the only way to make it go away. if you exercise the joint even a little while you still have some pain, it will flare up again. You may need to rest the joint for up to 2 weeks. Keep ibuprofen (an antiinflammatory) in your system too, even when resting.

The muscle that hurts is actually not the muscle that has the problem. you have a muscle that is not working fully and your sore muscle is the one that is over working to compensate. All you have to do is to go to the pharmacy and buy a 'band' that you place over the muscle that is slacking off... and then that pressue on that muscle makes it work and viola... teniditis gone. The pharmacy should be able to tell you where to put it (over waht muscle)

rest the joint, and take aleve.... then its ice after use and heat before use.... but always ice after use... next try a physical therapist
