definitely lower.

Either way you are dead meat, but I imagine freezing to death is a little less painfull than burning to death.

Lets see, if you raised it, you would be dead within 3 hours. 70+180=250.
If you lowered it, you could live as long as possible if you're bundled up. In 3 hours:
70-180=-110. Yeah, I think you'd be dead.

For how long?
What would be the cut off point?
Could I say "stop" and it would STOP?

I'd rather have the temp LOWER than Raise...I've gained alot of weight in the last 2 years...mostly because of my disease...and I just CANNOT handle the heat. I'd rather freeze.

Freezing temps will put you into a comatose state and I also have a respiratory disease..so I would just go to sleep and never wake up.

Much preferred over frying to death, don't you think?

Depends on what the temp was to begin with. If it was 80, lower it. If it was 40, raise it.

lower, i would rather freeze to death and try to keep myself warm than to get so hot that no matter what i do i can only get hotter, becuase if you get too cold, u can run around or jump up and down and keep moving to keep warm. u can't really do anything to cool yourself off if you are locked in a room
