Are the differences just in skill or experience, or are there psychological differences between them as well? Which one would be more easily deterred?

Hi, I would think their similarities are:
1) they both like to steal
Their differences:
1) the amateur gets caught!
Which one to get easily deterred?
1) Easy the amateur.Especially if he continues to get caught.
If he can keep from getting caught and he/ she continues to practice and does not let things like right and wrong interfere may be promoted to professional.
Do I pass??

of course, in skill they both have large different.

in my opinion,
in psychological, an amateur thief are only think, work (thiefery) is just for bussiness,,, and how to make a good price for the item.

while the proffs. will be think that is just for fun.. or maybe to proof that he can do anything that everyone can not...,

so, maybe after stealling, the professional thief will bring back the stealing item to the owner..:))..
(nope,. .. that is not a proffesional thief, but a moron ones.. =))

The professional theif has been at it longer and has rarely if ever been caught. An ametur hasn't been at it very long and gets caught quite often.
