I personally would never encourage anyone to use an illegal drug. But, assuming that you are over 18, you need to do what you think you should do. Just be willing to accept any consequences for your actions which may come as a result of your choice.

That is a choice that only you can make. Certainly it won't do you any lasting harm to try it. Keep in mind that the effects are often subtle so some first-time users claim they don't feel anything at all. Certainly, it takes more use than just a couple of times to really become acquainted with its effects.

Don't believe the nonsense above about how it will tun you into a bat and grow hair on your palms. The most likely result is that you will feel pleasantly disoriented, hungry, and some things may seem extremely hilarious to you, even though others can't see the joke. Then, in a few hours, you will be back to normal with no ill effects.

You can find a ton of research on the subject at http://druglibrary.org/schaffer I recommend that you spend some time browsing the Basic Facts and Frequently Asked Questions on that site. Don't believe the people who can't give you references. Most people don't have a clue what they are talking about on this subject.

If you have to ask that question, then I would say you absolutely need to hold off on trying pot. and besides, if you really wanted to you would have done it already, and not asked that question. Why would you want to smoke it anyway?? i mean, sure it gives you a buzz, and makes you feel good for a little while, but what's the use? you'll be hacking your lungs up onto the floor afterwards, and eat everything in sight. and possibly kill a few billion brain cells that could be put to better use than taking a hit off a stinky little cigarrette that smells like a skunk sprayed inside your house.

I don't think you need other people's opinions about something like that...

You're the only one who can decide whether to smoke pot or not; because such a decision will affect only YOU, not someone else

It's not addicting and relatively harmless when compared to smoking or heavily drinking. Do take precautions though, such as not driving while influenced etc. Don't let it consume your life. I'd hate for you or any one else to think of it as the only way to have fun.

It will not kill you to try it. Then, if you don't like it at least you will not be the ignorant majority! You will not go to hell because Uncle Sam says it's bad.
Plus, it is much safer than alcohol...a literal poison to your body.
And you dont have to smoke it.
