You may or may not feel any pain yet. Everyone is different! I felt just the round ligament pain on both sides of my pelvis and the heaviness in my abdomen about that time. My water broke before I had any contractions, so I never felt a lot of pain. But you don't really WANT to be feeling PAIN, per se. You want to feel braxton-hicks contractions(which are usually just rhythmic "practice" contractions, seldom painful) and maybe you have begun lightening(or your belly dropping) by now if it is your first baby. But lightening and braxton-hicks aren't always a good indication of impending labor, either. Feel glad you are not feeling any pain, because serious pain any time during pregnancy(especially when you are less than 3-5 cm dilated and NOT in active labor) is not good and may require an emergency room visit PRONTO! I just had a baby 6 months ago, so I bet you are anxious! My OB told me that when you are in labor, it is like having an 800 lb. gorilla in the room! You know it! They may start as menstrual-like cramps, or pain in your lower back that spreads to the front and does not go away when you switch positions. You probably already know this. So just make sure your bag is packed, relax and enjoy your leisure time now, because your world is about to be turned upside down! Good luck and Bless you!!

I am 37 weeks along too, ive felt pelvic pressure and some slight contractions once in a while.
With my first 2 children around the same time, i didnt feel anything, i just happened to go into labor without any signs beforehand.
Every situation is different for every woman.
Good luck!

you shouldn't have pain until you go into labor. At this stage being tired is normal, finding a comfortable place to sleep is normal, you will know that you are getting close when you begin nesting. Which is when you start cleaning in the middle of the night, when you have rearranged the baby items countless times, and you feel the need to
wash down every surface in the house.

No, you shouldn't be having pain at this stage. The pain starts when labour starts. You may be uncomfortable and feel very heavy right now, but until labour starts there should be no pain.

Aside from the general discomfort caused by being that far along, you shouldn't be feeling pain.

Not really. Except for the whole crowded, no room left in you feeling. You may get winded easily. And maybe after sex. But you should call your dr if you do. Congrats!! Good luck!!

all pregnancies are different. You may not feel pain until you are in labor, though i find it hard to think that you aren't at least uncofortable.
