I may be a lot different from other women, but I really prefer that a man leave the toilet seat up when he is finished with his business. At least that way I know he lifted it in the first place!! I can then simply take some toilet paper and lower it, then wash my hands before doing my own business. I don't raise it for them, so why should they lower it for me??

Neither way bothers me. No matter what I do, I will always need the seat in the opposite position as it is in. If I need to do a #1 quickly, the seat will be all the way down. If I need very quickly start at #2, the seat will be up. No use in getting upset about either.
I'm a guy, if you didn't figure that one already.

it somewhat is an common 2-state gadget. it somewhat is up or it somewhat is down. If a bloke lifts the seat to circumvent splashing it whilst urinating, i think of this is in all probability a mind-blowing element. it does no longer be superb to sit down down in somebody else's urine splashes. If a bloke desires to apply the lavatory and unearths the seat in a position that doesn't in good shape his meant purpose, he differences it. Are ladies asserting they are incapable of a similar fact, judgement and action? i does no longer insult ladies through suggesting they can't decrease a rest room seat. A bloke has already performed them the courtesy of no longer p***ing on it. i assume we ought to establish a protocol for lavatory seats according to our assessment of the statistical risk of the subsequent consumer of the lavatory requiring the seat interior the up or down place. on the different hand, with the aid of fact it somewhat is an common 2 state gadget, absolutely everyone effective to apply it unaided ought to manage to fixing that state to in good shape their meant purpose.

Down. The sound of the dog drinking out of it in the middle of the night wakes me up.

Neither one bugs me. When not in use, I keep it down to prevent the cat from jumping in unaware. :)

I prefer it down because when I'm stumbling around half asleep, I don't want to fall in.
