My vocabulary sucks and I would like to build it up. Is there a software that can help me learn vocabulary instead of using a dictionary?

Regardless of your age or vocabulary level, there is plenty of help available. If you type "vocabulary builder" or "vocabulary games" into a google search, along with the word "free" you will find heaps of helpful sites. You will need to narrow it down further depending on your age and stage requirements. You can also add the search term "SAT" or "GRE" if you are interested in higher level vocabulary, or "Grade 8" etc if you want high school levels.

Good luck!

Do you read a lot? I've been reading all kinds of books since I was young, and I know too many words for my own good. You'd be surprised what you pick up and don't even realize it. And you don't have to read Non-Fiction books that make you want to fall asleep. I read mostly Fiction thrillers/mysteries among other things.
