Every color seems fine except for orange color things are displayed blue and blue things are displayed orange. It is a sony dvd/vcr combo player and I don't know if it is my tv or the player that is acting up. And how do I fix this?

If you are using component video to connect it a cable may be swapped.

yeah, if it's component video, either a cable is swapped or a cable is unplugged. to fix: make sure that all cables are plugged in all the way, and make sure they corrospond to their respective colors. blue to blue, green to green, red to red.
if you're using s-video, it may be a bad cable. try switching cables out with a cable that you know works.

also, watch TV on your TV. if TV comes in right, then you can be sure it's not the TV. and if none of the above work, plug the player into a different TV, and if you plug all the cables in correctly and it still shows up blue, then it's the player.

hope this helps.

If you are watching a CRT, the older tube type TV's then one of your three color guns may be going out and if it is then you will need to buy a new TV. These color guns are located inside the tube and repairing it will cost more than just getting a new TV. Hook up your DVD to another TV first to see for sure.
