Do a right click on My Computer and choose Manage.
Highlight Device Manager.
It will be listed on the right under Display Adapters (make sure you hit the + next to Dispaly adapters if there is one)

for win xp; hit start>system info>components>display on right screen find "ADAPTOR DESCRIPTION

rite click on your windows background, goto "Properties > settings > advance > adapter" then you can see.
