Can I change the quarter length on franchise mode for PS3's Madden 07?

I can't figure out how to change the quarter length in franchise mode!

It should be the same as anywhere else. If you can't it probably is so you can't "pad" your stats. As the game plays fast having longer quarters would allow you to rack up points etc. I could understand with online stat sharing and stuff why they might have taken that option out.
