I'm currently in Barbados and I'm here for another 4 days. Give me a few ideas on some food I should check out. Whether it's a market or restaurant or whatever, I want to know!

Fried flying fish from Oistins (Christchurch) or cou-cou (cornmeal with okra) with streamed flying fish (National dish) Ship Inn St Lawrence Gap, Christchurch
Also try Pisces (fish and seafood), chefette (local fast food chain), Coach House and Altantis for local dishes

Enjoy your stay. My family are Bajan so I know where to get good food locally.

I love all foods in the Caribbean, as I'm sure Barbados would have the same as the other islands. Anything with conch in it is great...Conch Chowder, Conch Fritters. Or plantains, fried ones are wonderful. Their dirty rice is very good too. Or jerk chicken, burgers...mmmm.
