I worked in a nursing home for many years, and when our residents started acting out, cussing, fighting, staying up all night, things that were out of their norm. I feel like some of our staff got agitated, mouthy,etc..also during these times.I did'nt believe this at first and after awhile I would pay attention to the symptoms each month before I knew when the full moon was. I would say there is , or there will be a full moon this week and was pretty acurate much of the time. We kinda had to ride out all the mood changes.I have also heard/read the content of water in our bodies may have something to do with unusual full moon bahavior....Something to research huh?...

All these answers are BS! It has been shown statistical that nothing that happens on the full moon days is not happening on other days. Some decided some time ago that full moons did something to people, so the people started giving more attention to that time of month and ignoring other times of the month. This type of coincidental concordance fallacy is well understood. Even though police and hospitals, people who should know better, still believe this nonsense, does not make it true!

I've heard that more people go to the Emergency room .. or the Psy. room at Hospitals when the moon is full. Some people say that the stories are just bunk. I don't care for the full moon myself, because I feel like a wolf, then I blank out for 8 hours and wake up with bloody, raw, meat in my mouth. :( Good Luck! :)

I have a friend who is a SAPD dispatcher and she told me that on a full moon night there are more calls for shootings, murders, car jackings, domestic violence, etc.they are always really busy sending out police officers. Also some other friends that work at the State Hospital(psychiatric) tell me that they have to have extra employees working on full moon nights, that it always gets chaotic. Can you believe that?

Just as it (the moon) rises the tides in the ocean by a gravitational pull , I believe it also relieves a bit of the Earths gravitational pull on our blood and we all go a little naturally high.

I've never understood why full moons make anything happen. I guess a full moon is when the moon is closest to the earth and its gravity makes behaviour chemicals splash around in brains. Interesting question thanks.
