Michigan, along with Ohio State, is a Big Ten team. Michigan's thumping was due to coaching miscalculations and inability to adjust. USC is a fine team, Booty is a good-enough quarterback, but overall Michigan has better, more skillful players. Coaches grades on the Rose Bowl: Carroll, A; Carr, D
The Big East is an ambitious conference on the rise, but does not compare to either the Pac 10 or the Big Ten.

Uh, Michigan isn't in the Big East. And the reason the Trojans and the Wolverines played in the Rose Bowl is because the Rose Bowl's traditional matchup is the Pac-10 champion (USC) vs. Big Ten champion. Since the Big Ten champion (Ohio State) is playing in the title game, they chose the second place team in the Big Ten to keep the traditional matchup.
And while Michigan fans complained very loudly about not being in the title game and getting a rematch with the Buckeyes, they showed that they truly weren't worthy of that rematch, losing to a USC team that was down two Heisman winners. And if USC hadn't honked it against UCLA, they would be the ones playing OSU for the BCS Championship next Monday night... and with the way they played against Michigan in the Rose Bowl, there's no doubt they might have had a chance against Ohio State.

Your opinion doesn't really matter to anyone, as you clearly know little to nothing about college football.
Michigan = Big 10
Louisville = Big East
You = Uninformed Bandwagon Fan

I don,t think the Big East is weak.I think the pac 10 does not get the credit it deserves as being a strong conference.
