We brought our own bottle and after moving to an area that didn't have easy-access to fill it, ended up doing the old "swap'n'go.

It's cheaper if you own your own, but reality is that if you run out or are low, and want to BBQ, it's easier to run to the closest place to fill up.

And unless you BBQ ALL the time, you won't run out any time soon!

if you have an old botlle you can trade in, it is cheaper to swap than to buy a new empty one, and then still have to fill it. Walmart has the best swap price, that I have found, If you have no bottle, it may still be cheaper to buy a filled one from the swap, than buying a new empty and filling it.
