I actually purse my lips and elongate my smile to make my lower lids separate from my eyes. This same effect can probably be obtained when a woman opens her mouth. The muscles in her face elongate the area around the eyes and makes more room to apply the mascara. But the real question is why do I shut my eyes when I sneeze?

From my keen commentary (for seeing my sister a million circumstances doing this). considering the fact that putting on mascara demands and upward action, beginning your mouth together as using it actual shortens the time required different than women human beings using it with their mouths closed. How and why? the reason being rigidity. women people who has their mouth open together as using mascara actual end first because of the fact the rigidity is released from the mouth together as putting it on (no longer of their palms). on the different hand, women people who has their mouth closed, has shaky palms or perhaps takes extra time and concern putting it on because of the fact the rigidity is released without postpone from their palms.

It's hard not to open your mouth. I will catch a glimpse of boyfriend mimicking my face in the background of the mirror. I laugh and the get it on my nose, or in my eye. I guess it's the same reason you can't sneeze without closing your eyes.

With all the other "fun" parts about being a woman, it's just one more thing to keep us on our toes. I think it also has something to do with keeping you from blinking while applying (which could hurt so much more than making a funny face).

You're right about our mouths being open while we apply mascara to our lashes. I do it all the time! I have caught myself, but I can't seem to stop doing it! I guess it's just easier to apply the mascara that way.

lol I used to open my mouth but I would start laughing when I looked in the mirror and saw my mouth open so I had to stop lol. I just think it's funny to see someone putting on makeup with a mouth open wide.

Yeah, I've wondered that myself! It just doesn't work unless the mouth is open. Maybe it stretches your face or something.

I know! It's almost impossible! We do this because when open your eyes wide you have a reflex that makes your mouth into an "O" shape...

Because trying to open your eyes it is only a natural instinct to open your mouth as well.
