I think we will have bio-computers, and they will be able to perform creative tasks. For example, we could have a pilot that is a bio-computer.

IN 50 years many things would have changes, like Transport, I think people will have some flying cars that time, computers will have become the main part of life and working with humans in maximum daily tasks. As long as sex is concerned, only human have the feeling and can enjoy sex, nohting can take place of it, feeling never can be created, it is part of I, this is only thing in the universe that can not be described properly in words. Human will always remain humans.

Well , experts suggest that in 50 years we might be able to tap into quantum computing. Using quantum physics for processing, search algorithms, and encryption....unbreakable encryption.
Quantum bits, called, qubits - possess something totally unique making the idea of binary..obsolete. a qubit can either be a 0, or a 1, or both....thats right 2 things ...at the same time...theoretically impossible according to Newton. (newtons 3rd law)
goto howstuffworks to get more info - also holographic storage in now in the govt. and large private sector - expect to see consumer-level 10 terrabyte storage the norm on solis state non-volatile storage devices (a USB thumb drive) !!
Of course - these are just some guesses - but Star Trek type technology will be everyday use...

As long as Science and technology exist, there will be new innovations every year. Some informative gadgets or appliances will degrade and some will improve. But do not ever generalized the idea about computers replacing mankind. Computers are only there to help us communicate and make life easier.

Ok in the year 2057:
1) HD TV would be a thing of the past - A better TV, an interactive flat screen TV will be introduced. An interactive TV, one in which you can say commands and it will obey. Such as me saying "Channel 34" - the TV will then tune into channel 34.

How should I know? And the computer already replaces my TV. With youtueb and movie downloads, I almost don't even watch televions. As for computer sex, that's disgusting, man. Honestly I really hope that isn't going to happen.

There will be only one appliance in the house. It will take the place of the TV, computer, thermostat, security camera and recorder.

that is interesting.
Computers may take the place of TV,but i don't think they will substitute for something that has a great relation with the instinct of mankind, such as sex and so on.
