Absolutely.
It is almost an impossibility - and definitely highly improbable - given the literally billions of solar systems in the universe and incomprehensible distances that we are the only life forms that have developed.
I do, however, think that we are the only "humans" - given the strict definition of the word "human."

I have always thought that and my theory has always been we have been seeded, manufactured, or enhanced by a civilisation far more ancient than we can imagine.

I have thought that if we had in fact evolved from apes, why are apes still around? Why have they not evolved. In fact if evolution was as it is stated, many creatures would have developed in a way we have.

Why are crocodiles, one of the oldest species developed to something that we have achieved, as they were here longer then us. We are comparatively young. They should have advanced more, as they survived longer.

Something has tampered with our DNA at an early stage when we were nothing more then apes or even sea living creatures for a reason.

To conclude this leads me to believe the yearnings that humans have to explore the universe, and maybe with the inbuilt message in our genes to meet the people who we are related.

However these people still see the animal in us, our need for conflict, our need of domination, and have left us, thinking we are uncivilised.

Maybe one day when they see we are ready, we will be united with our true ancestors.

Hey this is just an idea. Do not think me mad, but I am a Sci-Fi fan, and am well into Stargate serials

Yes i have thought of that.. there are some scientists that have uncovered that. But in reality I may be stupid but I think we have evolved from something we don't know about.Another life form. How could we be here now. Every living thing comes from some where so why not humans?

Yes. It would definately be interesting to discover that we are not alone. If there are other humans out there would they be more intelligent than us and have technology which is far more advanced than we have.
