The difference is the spike on the toe. It is dangerous for soccer players to have this because of slide tackles. It is NOT what the spikes are made of that make the difference. I've played soccer for 12 years and you are allowed to use metal spikes and non-metal spikes in soccer. I dont know why you are asking this, but if its because you want to use baseball cleats for soccer cleats, my advice is to just cut off the toe spike of your baseball cleats, and then your soccer cleats will be 100% legal (unless your league does not allow metal spikes, depends a lot on your age)

There isn't much of a difference between a rubber spiked baseball cleat and a soccer cleat, but there is one difference. The difference is the way the tip of the shoe is put together. A soccer cleat is flat-toed, while a baseball cleat is more like a regular shoe with spikes on the bottom.

If you are speaking on a proffesional level, the difference is that baseball cleats have metal spikes where as soccer cleats do not. There is more chance of injury in soccer. But, if you are speaking for Little Leagues baseball then there is no difference. Spikes are usually not allowed until Babe Ruth League or High School.

On baseball cleats, there is a spike on the toe. This is illegal to wear in soccer where there is no spike there

It all depends, soccer cleats have rubber spikes and baseball have both, so it depends on what kind you want or kind you have to have.
