I have several cold laminators that work really great. They come in different sizes (widths) depending on what you want to laminate. You can also get different cartridges to make stickers, or put magnets on the back. I love mine!

Yes, they just work just as well.
I have paid up to $3 each for an A3 to get laminated. I use a small laminator at home and at work and am very happy with the result, plus with more money in my pocket.

I have a cheap one that will laminate up to 9". The problem is, that I have to send the item through over and over for it to thoroughly laminate. I guess it doesn't heat up as well as it should, or something. Oh well, I think you do get what you pay for with these!!!

Home laminators work great. I've used a small one several times and compared to having it done its well worth the time it takes to do it yourself.

I have a cheap one from WalMart and it is satisfactory on the hot setting. I've tried the cold setting and it doesn't do much. So stick with the hot setting and you will be fine.
